Hareline's large northern bucktails are widely regarded as the best available for fly tying. You'll find more usable fibers on these than standard bucktails and at a fraction of the cost. They are perfect for long saltwater streamers, deceivers, clouser minnows, jigs & more. They also work great for freshwater patterns for bass, pike, and muskie. These premium bucktails are clean, evenly dyed, and are available in a ton of fish-catching colors.

I use EP PLASTIC EYES in all my streamer fly patterns and the reason is very simple - the trigger point of a predator fish is in the eyes and the gills. These eyes are not only three-dimensional and realistic, but add a little weight to the fly as well. My preference for attaching these eyes is with Zap glue and a cautery tool.
